We’re a friendly, lively community choir based in East Dulwich at Goose Green Primary School. Originally, we started as a choir for parents and staff at Goose Green Primary School but we soon expanded to include any adult living in our local community.
Open to all, no musical experience is required – just enthusiasm! Many of us don’t read music and have never sung so don’t worry that you might not have enough experience to join us.
We meet on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 – 7:50pm at Goose Green Primary School and then usually we head off to the local pub for a pint or two.
We perform several times a year at different events organised by Goose Green Primary School & the PTA including: Black History Month/International Evening, Christmas Fair and Christmas Church Concert and the Annual Goose Green Summer Carnival. We are also organising an East Dulwich Fest which will take place on the 24th March 7pm start at the Ivyhouse Pub, Stuart Road, Nunhead with six local community choirs – more details can be found here on our blog. We hope to be singing at other local events/fairs so watch this space or follow us on Twitter to keep up to date!
‘I used to sing in choirs when I was younger and this is a different and much more entertaining experience!’ ~ Polly
